November 2023 Real Estate Market Insights: Sales Dip And Prices Fluctuate

In November 2023, there was an 11.79 percent decrease in home sales in New Mexico compared to the previous month.

While still lagging by 8.34 percent behind November 2022 sales, these figures indicate a 4.99 percent decline in the median sold price on a year-over-year basis. In comparison to October 2023, the November median sold price in New Mexico increased by 1.82 percent.

County: First Half Of Property Taxes Due Dec. 11

Property tax bills for 2023 will be mailed to property owners by Los Alamos County’s Finance Department by Nov. 1.

The deadline for the first half of property taxes is Dec. 10, but has been extended to Monday, Dec. 11 due to the weekend. It is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure property taxes are paid to avoid late payment penalty and interest charges.
