Artists Sought For 2026 Dog Jog Logo Contest

Tails are wagging all over Los Alamos in anticipation of the 2026 Los Alamos Dog Jog, to be held Saturday, April 25. 

The Dog Jog is an annual fundraiser for the Friends of Shelter and Companion Animals (FOSCA), an all-volunteer organization that uses this money to provide funding for spay/neuter programs and veterinary care for ill and injured dogs and cats whose owners cannot afford expensive care for their beloved pets.

National History Day Showcase Featuring Local Students’ Projects Presented By Los Alamos Historical Society

The Los Alamos Historical Society invites the community to a National History Day Showcase from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Fuller Lodge.

Community members are invited to stop by, explore student projects, including exhibit displays, websites, and documentaries, and wish participants well before they advance to the regional competition in Santa Fe.

Olions ‘Mean Girls’ Opens Friday At Smith Auditorium

Have all your questions about Regina George answered this month as the Los Alamos High School Olions present Mean Girls, based on the Paramount Pictures film of the same name.

The musical — written by Tina Fey, lyrics by Nell Benjamin, and music by Jeff Richmond — will hit the stage Feb. 20 through March 1, with performances at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays at Duane Smith Auditorium, 1300 Diamond Drive. The understudy show will be Friday, Feb. 27.
