This morning the Los Alamos Daily Post received word that Rancho de San Juan Resort and Restaurant on the road to the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs, is closing its doors Oct. 12.

Craig Martin Experience to Play at Kiwanis ‘Autumn in Provence’ Wine Dinner
KIWANIS News:
The Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos is hosting its first wine dinner fundraiser.
The event is 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 at the Dixie Girl Restaurant, 1789 Central Ave.
“Autumn in Provence” is the theme for the wine dinner.
Included in the elegant event is a five-course gourmet meal, which will feature paired french wines selected by Dixie Girl co-owner Jake Smith to uniquely match each course.

Ruby K’s Bagel Café has been a part of Beth Bowman’s routine for the past seven years. Every Wednesday, after working out with friends, they all go to Ruby K’s for bagels.
She has recently joined the staff as a baker.
Bowman, along with Katherine Johnson (another Ruby K’s employee), is test baking to come up with a new line of cupcakes.
