The Parks and Open Space Division announces that sections of Ashley Pond Park will be temporarily closed to the public beginning the week of March 16 to allow crews to complete scheduled concrete replacement and safety improvements throughout the park.

Tree Pruning Scheduled On Central Avenue March 10-11

Los Alamos County advises residents that Southwest Fire Defense will be conducting scheduled tree pruning along Central Avenue, Tuesday March 10 and Wednesday March 11.

Crews will begin work at 4th Street and progress along the street toward Bathtub Row.
