Author Speaks: Nye and Barco Reveal What Happens When Books are Banned

The written word packs a good punch. It sparks inspiration and sometimes exasperation even to the point where people want to ban it.

The desire to ban books can also pack quite a punch, particularly for public and school libraries.

County Administrator Harry Burgess Announces Re-organization, Promotions

During Wednesday night’s County Council budget meeting, County Administrator Harry Burgess announced organizational changes within several management positions, following his review of the various County departments and divisions and their relationship to his office.
