United Church News:

The community is invited to learn about Juneteenth and the mandate from the prophet Micah to “seek justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God.”

Summer VBS is being reimagined at the United Church on Canyon Road as Summer Family VBS Thursdays. The action will be Vespers, Bible Study and Supper for all ages 5:30-7 p.m. on three Thursdays this summer.

  • Vespers, Bible and Supper
  • Thursday, June 19, 5:30-7 p.m.

All are invited to join in the intergenerational fast-paced fun starting June 19 with Juneteenth & Justice!. Next, July 24 will be Rhythm of the Church year, assisted by Musica Antigua de Albuquerque; and Aug. 21 Basic Bible Study practices.

The action starts at 5:30 p.m., with educational activities and service projects for adults and for kids and supper. Closing with an informal prayer and vesper service that ends by 7 p.m.

Registration is not necessary, but please contact Rev. Laura Loving at 262.853.4138 or lalsfnm@gmail.com to provide an idea of the number and ages of attendees to prepare for, and with questions.
