Albuquerque Set To Welcome 2026 Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships

ALBUQUERQUE — Albuquerque will once again welcome top collegiate track and field athletes from across the region for the 2026 Lone Star Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, taking place Feb. 27-28 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The two-day men’s and women’s championships marks the second consecutive year the event will be hosted in Albuquerque, following a successful 2025 meet.

LAHS Boys Basketball To Host Playoff Game Today

The Los Alamos High School boys’ basketball team will host the Moriarty Pintos in a District playoff game tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Griffith Gym. Start time is 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.

Tickets for this game must be purchased in advance through GoFan at https://gofan.co/app/school/NM13898. There will be no cash or credit card sales at the door. Passes will not be accepted for any post season game.

Toppers Fall To Pojoaque Elks 46-58

The Los Alamos Toppers hosted the Pojoaque Elks Friday night in a conference game played in Griffith Gymnasium. The Toppers trailed for most of the game and the Elks pushed ahead to win 46-58. The Gym was at capacity for the exciting game with both teams’ cheerleaders rooting for their teams, and the Topper Drum Line added to the excitement.
