William Bradley Martin passed away on December 7, 2024, just a month shy of his 82nd birthday.

Brad was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania but grew up in Los Alamos. Upon graduation from Los Alamos High School (LAHS), Brad proudly joined the Navy and was always grateful for the opportunity to serve his country.

After graduating from UNM, he spent the remainder of his life in Santa Fe, commuting to LANL until his retirement.

Brad was an active and adventurous man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, mountain climbing, kayaking and river rafting. He spent much of his later life in East and South Africa where he attended school to become a licensed professional hunter.

Roaming the forests and valleys of Zambia and listening to the roar of lions while sitting around a campfire is where Brad spent his most precious days.

Brad will be missed greatly by LaVelle, his wife of 51 years, his brothers Mike of Texas and Jeff and his wife Jan of Montana, nephews and niece Walker, Allison, David and Thomas, as well as many, many friends.

Military Honors will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on January 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
