EDITH ELEANOR (BECKY) GUERRERO Oct. 20, 1923 – March 13, 2024
Becky Guerrero passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024, in Littleton, Colorado. She was born to Sam and Thora Back on October 20, 1923, in Limon, Colorado.
After growing up in Santa Fe, N.M., Becky married John (Jack) Guerrero Sr. Throughout their lives together, they called Santa Fe, N.M., Abilene, TX., Mineola, NY., (where Jack was stationed with the Army). Los Alamos, Jemez Springs, and Albuquerque, N.M. home. She spent her last years in Littleton, Colorado.
Becky’s love of God and of her family was witnessed by all who knew her. She was blessed with talent that spanned from painting to pottery and sewing. Playing bingo was a big part of her daily life.
Becky leaves to cherish her memory, son Gary Guerrero and family of Littleton, CO., daughter Laurel Henry and family of Midland, TX., daughter-in-law Sandra Guerrero and family of Ft. Myers, FL., several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Guerrero Sr., children John Jr., Sammy, Cheryll, and Stephen Guerrero, granddaughter Krista Lizak and son-in-law Charles Henry.
Our mom touched many lives with her grace and strength, always leaning on her never-ending faith in God.
Becky will be reunited with her husband Jack at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, N.M. during a private service at a later date.
