After learning of the gratitude students express throughout the district, Producer Shelley Osterloh and an NBC News film crew arrived at Los Alamos High School Tuesday morning to interview teacher Lynn Ovaska about her mission to teach gratitude to her students.

Ovaska instructs her students on the art of performing simple acts of kindness and writing letters of gratitude to teachers, family and others.

The interview with Ovaska, students, teachers and others will be included in a segment scheduled to air 5:30 p.m. MST (6:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. CT) Sunday on NBC Nightly News (KOB Ch. 4).
