ALBUQUERQUE — As the film industry booms in New Mexico, a group of local New Mexicans have come together to create a company to fill the needs of film makers working both in the state and nationwide.

The team behind Monumental Studios is unveiling their new costume house in Albuquerque, specializing in vintage wear, uniforms and general stock. They have already tapped some of the major feature films coming to the state in 2022.

The Costume House@Monumental Studios offers an 8,000 square foot warehouse with a 2,000 square foot office component perfect for fittings, production workspace, and meetings. Any size costume department can comfortably work alongside the complete local inventory.

The Costume House@Monumental Studios is now offering services previously unavailable unless sourced from outside the state. Through their community partnerships, Monumental Studios is laying the groundwork for additional local film support to be sourced and curated solely within New Mexico.

The Costume House@Monumental Studios is just one of many pieces attached to the Monumental Studios brand and they are anticipating more announcements to come soon from the endeavor.
