ALBUQUERQUE — The Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Foundation is thrilled to announce its enchanting event, Love Is In the Air: A Sunset Glow Cocktail Party set to captivate hearts Saturday, Feb. 10. This unique event celebrates love set to an evening sunset dotted with hot air balloons, whimsy and wonder. Patrons may show their love of one another, balloons, Albuquerque and the Balloon Museum at this fundraising event.
Guests are invited to indulge in the magic of museum love as they stroll through the historic museum. The event features live music with Robb Janov, delectable cuisine by M’Tucci’s Catering, cocktails with Red Door Brewing, and, of course, balloons. Guests may also choose to participate in additional love-themed offerings such as candle-making with Enchanted Wik, card making, mini – flowers bouquets, hair sparkles and browsing the Balloon Museum Shoppe with a 10% discount.
Love Is In the Air: A Sunset Glow Cocktail Party is not only a celebration of love but also an opportunity for couples, friends, and families to come together in a uniquely Albuquerque way. The event kicks off at 4 p.m. and includes a display of large and miniature hot-air balloons inflating and glowing during the magic sunset hour on the museum lawn overlooking the Sandias.
“We are thrilled to announce the generous donation of a hot air balloon ride from Rainbow Ryder’s Hot Air Balloon Ride Company for our upcoming Love Is In the Air event” said Kate Anella, spokesperson for the Balloon Museum Foundation. “Guests will be able to enter into a raffle to win a chance to experience the wonder of balloon flight. This enchanting addition promises to make our event truly unforgettable, offering attendees the chance to embrace the romance of flight high above the city. Proceeds of the raffle and the Love is in the Air: A Sunset Glow Cocktail Party benefit the Balloon Museum Foundation which raises funds and awareness for the Balloon Museum.
