I am proud to endorse Tammy Hinckley for the District 2 Los Alamos Public Schools board position. Tammy Hinckley was my sixth grade teacher, and I remember her as a fair, caring woman who worked hard to create a safe environment for her students. She treated her students with respect.

I recently ran into Mrs. Hinckley after more than 10 years, and not only did she remember me, but she remembered my hopes and dreams. I am proud to have a candidate who cares and remembers her students, because she will carry those qualities with her into office to make changes for the betterment of the Los Alamos community. 

As a former teacher who taught in Los Alamos for over 20 years, I believe Mrs. Hinckley brings an important, intimate knowledge and rapport to help support both the teachers and students of Los Alamos.

I believe she will make a positive impact in this position, especially for the issues she is passionate about, such as student mental health and test scores.
