LASO News:
Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra presents their annual Holiday Concert, 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at Crossroads Bible Church.
Celebrate the holiday season with the Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra’s annual Holiday Concert! This free event, a gift to the community, includes cherished traditions like a holiday sing-along and a chance to win the opportunity to conduct Jingle Bells. Enjoy delightful performances, including ballet dancers from The Ratcracker on the Hill, and share in the joy of the season with a post-concert reception alongside the musicians.
Music has a special way of bringing memories to life. From the trumpet’s playful “neigh” in Sleigh Ride to the stirring cello solo in Silent Night, these pieces carry the warmth of cherished holiday memories.
This year, the orchestra welcomes Deanna Teague, a beloved band conductor for middle and high school students, who brings an extra spark to this festive concert.
The Los Alamos Symphony Board has dedicated this concert as their annual scholarship fundraiser. Since January 2016, scholarships have supported many high school musicians in their pursuit of music studies. Your contributions help us continue this support—donations are welcomed at the door or through the “Donate” link at LosAlamosSymphony.org. All donations are tax-deductible.
Come join us for an evening of holiday cheer, community spirit, and wonderful music!
