Baked Goods with Bernadette has a theme for the two upcoming events next week.

The discussion group will focus on the Legislative Session, which begins Tuesday. The brief chat will highlight easy ways the community can help the local senior centers as they prepare for funding issues.

The events usually include homemade baked goods and last just 30 minutes:

Northern Host Community Celebration Honoring MLK

NNMC News:

Española — The community is invited to a celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 20 in the Center for the Arts at Northern New Mexico College.

This event is free and open to the public, family friendly, and will include exhibitors for community resources, entertainment by Moving Arts Española and a talk about Black history in New Mexico. Read More
