Author Liddie Martinez has had many requests for more opportunities to meet her and see her cookbook and have it signed.
The next event is 3-5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 at PMI, Performance Maintenance, Inc., 835 N. Paseo De Onate in Española, right next door to Northern New Mexico College.
In The Chile Line: Historic Northern New Mexican Recipes (Pajarito Press LLC), Martinez shares her grandmother’s recipes, passed down for generations, that sustain northern New Mexicans and their way of life, through the kitchen. In her unique new cookbook, The Chile Line, you will discover how to make this beloved, traditional northern New Mexico fare.
There is more: During the book signing, Martinez will share her charming remembrances of life in the family kitchen on their small farm, adding a personal touch to the history she brings out in her book. Carry on this cultural and culinary legacy with the 86 enchanting recipes found between the covers of her cookbook.
