Bathtub Row Brewing
Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op has been selected by Los Alamos County to move forward with a proposal to operate a food and beverage concept at the Los Alamos Golf Course.
As promised, we want to begin sharing additional information and create an opportunity for our members and the broader community to learn more, ask questions, and provide input.
To this end here is the proposal document that Bathtub Row submitted to the County earlier in the process. A great many of our early thoughts and ideas about the project are contained in that document.
The proposal reflects our initial thinking and direction, not final plans. While it will not answer every question, it provides useful background on how we have been approaching the concept.
In order to be fair to everyone involved in the County’s process, including County constituents and other interested parties, we were not able to publicly discuss the proposal while the RFI process and early lease negotiations were underway. These types of processes require a certain level of discretion so that all parties are treated fairly.
Now that we have reached an agreement in principle, we are able to begin sharing more information and opening the conversation with both our membership and the broader Los Alamos community.
Community Gathering — Tub Nation
Bathtub Row is a member owned cooperative, and open community conversation is not just something we welcome, it is something we insist on.
I invite all members of Tub Nation, along with neighbors, golfers, and anyone interested in learning more, to join us at Bathtub Row for a conversation about the project from 5–7 p.m., March 15, at Bathtub Row Brewing. There is always room for one more.
This gathering will provide an opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts, and provide input as we continue exploring this opportunity.
Questions and FAQ
We are already receiving thoughtful feedback and questions. As they come in, we will begin compiling them and working toward a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page so people can see responses to the most common questions.
Your input will help shape that process.
This is not a time to be shy. We are excited about the opportunity in front of us, but we are also approaching it with careful diligence. We take this work seriously, and we take our responsibility to our members and our community just as seriously.
