SANTA FE — Applications are now open for the 2026 New Mexico Summer Enrichment Internship Program (SEIP), offering high school students the opportunity to earn a paycheck this summer while gaining real-world work experience.
Through this state-supported Public Education Department (PED) program, students complete eight-week paid internships with local employers, working 20 hours per week while receiving professional skills training and dedicated program support. The Family YMCA is inviting the community to celebrate Easter morning with movement and purpose at a special Easter Step Class Fundraiser at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, April 5 in the Main YMCA Gymnasium.
While the YMCA facility will be closed for regular programming that day, the Easter Step Class offers community members ages 13 and older a fun opportunity to stay active while supporting a meaningful local tradition.
