Teen Center and Nature Center Move to Phase 2

 
The County’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Evaluation and Oversight Committee held a public hearing Thursday in Council Chambers for those applicants who have indicated that they are ready to move from Phase 1 (Study) to Phase 2 (Design/Construction). The committee passed unanimously Phase 2 applications for both the Teen Center and the Nature Center for the Pajarito Environmental Education Center.

A Day Trip Excursion by Rail

 
My wife and I decided to take an excursion down to Albuquerque for the afternoon on the Rail Runner a while back. We parked in downtown Santa Fe at the Rail Yard in the new underground parking lot. It cost a buck to park all day.

We took the short walk to the train depot and jumped on board at 11:20 a.m. Upstairs in the train there are groupings of four seats that face each other with a narrow table in between.

LA Youth Mobilizers – LA Youth Food Project Survey Report

 

Attached by a link is the report of the survey given to all 7th and 8th graders @ LAMS after the November 2011 Pep Rally for the LA Youth Food Project. The survey and resulting report was created by the Los Alamos Youth Mobilizers (Myles Gurle, Daniel McCurdy, Sarah Park, Cydney Remelius) and was published in March 2012.  It is in Microsoft Word Document format.
