Sportsmen’s Club Hosts Community Event June 10-11

The Los Alamos Sportsmen’s Club is opening its shooting and archery ranges Saturday and Sunday to offer people a chance to learn the basics of how to safely handle, load, shoot and maintain their firearm or shoot their bow.

The event runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Club in Rendijo Canyon. Rendija Road is off San Ildefonso Road on Barranca Mesa.

Documents obtained from the New Mexico Department of Public Safety this morning reveal that Santa Fe County Sheriff Major Gabe Gonzales and New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau agents were aware of incidences of child solicitation by electronic device involving Dustin Bingham as early as last January.

The alleged incidences occurred in Los Alamos and Albuquerque and involved two female minors who allegedly received inappropriate photos sent through Snapshot.
