Due To Threats Public Not Allowed To Los Alamos-Pojoaque Football Game Tonight

LAPS News:

This afternoon, the Pojoaque Superintendent notified Los Alamos Public Schools about a perceived threat that they were concerned about. As a result, fans will not be allowed to attend the game in Pojoaque tonight. The team will travel and play as planned. No one other than players and coaches will be allowed in the stadium. Please cooperate with the Pojoaque school district and do not try to attend this game. Pojoaque will have extra police presence to ensure player safety.

Below is the message from Pojoaque Superintendent Matthew Nagle:

“Due to a perceived threat and out of an abundance of caution, PVSD will not be allowing any fans to attend tonight’s football game at Pojoaque Valley High School against Los Alamos High School. The football game will be played today, additional law enforcement will be present, but I am asking all fans to stay away from the Jacona campus where PVHS and the football field is located. The safety of our student athletes and the Los Alamos student athletes is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding.”
