Margery Jean McCormick was born in Nowata, Oklahoma to Willard and Vinnie (Nida) Cridland.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald McCormick, and by her parents, her brother Willard Cridland, Jr., her sister Myrle Hill and her twin sister Anne Maxine Harber. She is survived by her children Amy Anderson, Zachary McCormick, and Egan McCormick, and his wife, Jacqueline, as well as grandchildren Chris Anderson, Tyler McCormick, Lacey Duffy, Chelsea McCormick, and Micaela McCormick and great-grandson Logan Duffy.
 
Margery and Don lived in Los Alamos for 43 years before eventually moving to Albuquerque. She was a member of the altar guild at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church and a member of the Order of St. Luke. She and her husband were both active in Los Alamos politics and Little Theater, Light Opera, and the Don Juan Playhouse. As an employee of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, she was always proud to hand her badge to a guard and be allowed to enter the Laboratory where she worked in the Computer Division.
 
Her smile and cheerfulness were treasured by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank all of her caregivers from Interim HealthCare and the staff at Manzano del Sol.
 
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday July 30 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 321 Richmond Place NE. A reception will follow at Manzano del Sol, 5201 Roma Ave. NE, in Albuquerque.
