LAMC News:

After more than 20 incredible years at Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC), the hospital has bid a heartfelt farewell to Vicki Martinez as she begins her well-deserved retirement. Martinez has been a cornerstone of the LAMC hospital family, serving as the Executive Assistant in Administration for most of her tenure.

If you’ve ever walked into the administration suite, chances are her warm smile was the first to greet you. Known as the gatekeeper to the executive team, Martinez balanced grace and professionalism, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.

Her kindness and sweet demeanor were matched by her unwavering commitment to time management and efficiency — a true protector of the hospital’s rhythm. As one CEO said: “All paths lead through Vicki.” That statement perfectly captures the vital role she played in connecting people and keeping everything running smoothly.

On Dec. 30, LAMC celebrated her last day with bittersweet joy. The entire hospital — past and present — thanks Martinez for her dedication, her laughter, and the countless ways she has supported the team.
